Two BWIM Sisters & Congratulations to New President of ABC!!
Congratulations to Channing Dungey who has been become the New President of the ABC Entertainment Group

Channing Dungey and Husband, Scott Power (Brand Strategist, Producer, Entrepreneur, Explorer, Ironman Triathlete, Author, Philanthropist)
I‘m wishing Ms. Dungey uncanny wisdom and skill in the overseeing, production, and selection of scads of positive and popular content for ABC Entertainment along with the crucial accompaniment of the high ratings for those shows containing the positive content that many people clamor for and claim to want. LOL!
However, not only did Channing Dungey marry on the IR Slice, but so did her sister.
“When they were little, Channing Dungey and her sister Merrin would scour the fall preview issue of TV Guide to plan the shows they wanted to watch for the season. Dungey would make a grid of favorites to help her negotiate with her sister and parents for time slots.”

New Mommy Tyra Banks! The Gritty Slice & Nuances of “I Want a Man on My Level” & Other Wordings
Well, this is an example of how money CAN actually buy life. LOL! Women with her resources can pay another woman to carry their fertilized egg. But hey, being a surrogate mom has become a lucrative new profession for some women. This is a win-win situation. This is a profession that even some older women can engage in because under the right circumstances, a healthy enough older woman (I’ve read of a few cases of women in their sixties doing this!!) can carry a fertilized egg and birth the child of a younger woman whose body is impaired in some way. I tell ya: A woman’s body is a magnificent creation! LOL!

Happy Holidays! 2 ADs Normalizing BWIR, Note from Reader, Podcast
Thanks RG for the Macy’s AD pic for Calvin Klein fragrance normalizing a bw with a beau from the global village. I wonder which demographic(s) was the target for this ad. I know that all marketing campaigns have a major target group in mind.
Thanks CH for this Youtube VIDEO AD for a sleek FORD SUV. Hmm, I wonder whether this AD was pitched more at men than women? And I wonder whether it was pitched more at the wm demographic. I don’t believe it’s pitched at bw because it shows too many close-up shots of the woman. Instead, most hetero women would want to see LOTS of close-ups of HIM–not her! I’m just saying. LOL
It’s telling that you, a wm, found the video. LOL!

Marriage Announcement–CONGRATS! & Stats re AA Men’s OOW Biracial Children in the Social Services Pipeline
Even though I’m busy these days with other projects, I’m trying to keep up with posting links that you and others send. So, I’m posting this one NOW! Lol
Sorry to all of you who have sent me material that I haven’t posted.
But let us all wish this couple a blissful life together. I’m so happy she has found her ONE!
Apparently, her husband had never gotten the bizarre memo that AA/bw women are somehow “unfit” for marriage and yadda, yadda.
I know that the bulk of normal men have never gotten that memo and those men who have a mind of their own, won’t pay attention to it even if someone shoves it in their face. The bottom line is there is NOTHING more powerful than evolutionary wiring and nature. Bw–be ever thankful for that! Her husband makes this clear in why he wooed her.
He said: “She was young, beautiful and [Read more…]
Smart Women Never Lose the Lesson
They look so content to be with each other. It’s great to see people looking like this these days. LOL

Recently received the note below from a reader, who is wrestling with a quite different human experience.
She thinks she has lost at love, but she hasn’t lost anything worth having. It never existed, except in her mind. A delusion. I shudder though at the 5+ years of precious womanly time she invested with this male. Whew! Since I wanted to do a post, I decided to write a response to her note and feature it here as a ‘slice-and-dice,’ of how failure-prone thinking directs lives towards failure, in the hopes that my analysis may be of service to others.
No person deserves to be treated like this. We were born noble, to be treated nobly, with respect, but failure-prone thinking will always invite predatory people and situations into our surroundings and make them comfortable around us.
We should all know that on the securing-a-quality-romantic-relationship front, 5 years of time for a woman is like 15 for a man because the reality is that there’s a shrinking pool of quality men available for women as we age. Blame it on evolutionary wiring and the life cycle, but the fact is that lots of men are surface-oriented, looking for younger women. There are CQLL men for women of all ages, but the reality is that the pool shrinks as we get older. Life is fair to the extent that [Read more…]
Jim Crow Against Unambiguously Black Women. When Will Bw Take a Stand And Defend THEIR Interests?
UPDATE: Sept. 30, 2015
I initially wrote this post yesterday, but I’ve read on a few other sites where commenters are blaming these unambiguously black women for this club discriminating against them since they allowed their pics to be taken.
SMH–Folks always find a way to blame bw!
The fact is that we live in a time in the West where many people of all groups have slackened standards or none at all. Security is also an issue.
As a result, photos are required in more businesses and workplaces. Let’s not get confused. The problem was NOT that the photos were taken; the problem was the PURPOSE of the photos. They were used to discriminate against those ‘unambiguously black women.’ For those who don’t know the term: An ‘unambiguously black woman’ is a woman whose complexion and/or facial features, [Read more…]

Back from vacation, recovering from my granddaughter Ada’s 2nd birthday “affair,” and trying to stay cool here during these dog days of summer. Darren and I have been having fun taking Ada to the pool as much as possible. She has become too heavy for me to carry around much. She’s a baby and doesn’t even want to know she’s too heavy for me. LOL! So it’s great that Darren is always there to carry her when she wants to be carried. He’s a doting granddad and loves carrying her.
Vacation was wonderful. It’s always great to travel, see new sites, and mingle with people who come from a different place geographically and historically. Mostly what I love about traveling is that I get to go to other cultural settings, different language, different ways of doing things. That way, I’m able to absorb new experiences which I can then allow to percolate inside me or become a part of me, that is, if it’s something that will and can enhance and enlarge this human experiences I’m having.
I get all kinds of artistic ideas when I go to other locales, and I always buy a few items while there to continue my growth. The one thing I always include in my purchases is a French mystery novel of some sort. Last year, [Read more…]
